A: Unibooking is a B2B system. Only tourism professionals can become members.
 
Q: How can I become a member of Unibooking.com?

A: You will have to make an online request by filling in the subscription form. We will send you the contract and at the time the signed contract is returned to us, you become a full member.

 
Q: Can I use Unibooking for my own distribution?

A: Yes. Once you are a Unibooking.com member, you can open this system to all retailers by providing them a username and password. You can add the commission percentage and control their sales and payments through the system.

 
Q: Can I personalise Unibooking.com?
A: You can ask us to put your company logo on Unibooking.

Q: Is the system secure?
A: Yes, the system is secure. However, to make money transfers, you will have to use a virtual banking system included in our website.

Q: What is the language used for the services?
A: English and French are used. You will be able to choose a language while searching for a product.
 
Q: Are prices displayed on the website net prices or discount prices?
A: Prices displayed on the website are net prices. A commission is not deductible from these prices.
 
Q: Which type of currency should I choose?

A: When you become a member of Unibooking.com, we will ask you which type of currency you prefer. Once you have chosen the currency, it is the only currency you will be allowed to use.

 
Q: What if for some reason, I am not able to get onto the Internet. Can I have a booking made offline with Unibooking.com via fax or email?

Q: When I make a reservation request, how is it processed?

A: If the reservation request is taken from allotment, it will be confirmed instantly with an immediate status change. Otherwise, we will answer you within 12 hours. If we cannot satisfy your request we will suggest an equivalent product.

 
Q: How will I be contacted of status change to my booking?
A: An email will be generated and sent to the User's email box whenever there is a status change to your booking.
 
Q: Can I make specific requests regarding my reservation?
A: Yes. When sending your reservation request, there is ample space provided to add specific notes regarding the request. We will take your request into consideration.
 
Q: Is the total price displayed at the end of my HOTEL booking per room per night or for total stay?
A: When you make an accommodation search, the price displayed is based on per room, per night. Upon completion of booking, the total price is on total stay.

A: It is based on Per Room.
 
Q: I can't remember whether my reservation request has been confirmed. How do I check the status of my reservation request?
A: You can check the status of any reservation request by entering the "Booking List."
 
Q: What are the different categories of status?
A: The categories of status are: Request, Confirmed, Cancelled.
 
Q: Does a triple room have three separate beds or a mixture of a double and single or a double and a rollaway?
A: Unfortunately, this varies from property. Many properties provide a rollaway to a double-bedded room. Please request that answer in your specific notes when making a reservation.
 
Q: What is a Booking Reference Number?
A:It is a reference number generated by the system to refer to one particular booking. Each number is unique and cannot be reproduced. This number will be necessary for any change or cancellation.
 
Q: What is the maximum number of rooms I can make to a booking?
A: 5 rooms.
 
Q: How do I add an additional booking to a list of confirmed bookings for my client?
A: Make a change to the folder by choosing step "to be added to."
 
Q : What do I do after confirmation of the requested file to obtain the final confirmation?

A : After confirmation, you will be given an option date. Until this date, you will have to make 30%of payment for final confirmation. If payment has not been made until this date, your booking reservation will be cancelled. The balance must be paid 7 days prior to commencement of services.

 
Q: When can I print vouchers?
A: Once final payment has been made and you have received final confirmation of your booking, you can print your vouchers.
 
Q: How many times can I print vouchers for one booking?
A: As many times as you want. There is no limit.
 
Q: Can my client check into a hotel without a service voucher, if there is a confirmed booking under his name?

A: Yes. The hotel has the client's records. All the client has to do is show his passport or identification papers to claim the rooms. However, it is advisable to have your clients bring along the vouchers to avoid any delays or miscommunications.

 
Q: Do I have to pay any extra charges if I make amendments to my bookings?
A: No. You only pay for the room cost. There is no additional amendment charges.
 
Q: What is the cancellation policy for my reservation?

A: Up to 3 days prior to commencement of services there is no cancellation fee. Within 3 days prior to commencement of services there is a 30% penalty. In case of cancellation after the day of arrival, 100% will be charged. In case of cancellation, the difference or the total amount of your payment will be refunded immediately.

Q: Which payment types should I choose for a booking?
A: You can either pay at the end of each booking, or you can make pre-payment to a credit.
 
Q : Can I obtain better prices than displayed in the website?
A : Yes. Discounts can be applied when you exceed sales amount. It will be communicated with your contract.
 
Q: How will I be invoiced and how often and via what means?
A: You can print your invoices and follow your account on the system. We will send you an e-mail to confirm each booking, stating the time for payment.
